Year of the Horse Kick-Off Event
The Year of the Horse Kick-Off is a full-day educational event designed to put the horse first, bringing together a diverse group of trusted equine professionals to explore the horse’s health, comfort, performance, and partnership with the rider. This event is ideal for riders, owners, and equine enthusiasts who want a deeper, more holistic understanding of their horse from the ground up.
Attendees will hear from Dr. Elizabeth Barrett, veterinarian, on equine health, soundness, and preventative care, alongside Chad Lausen, farrier, who will discuss hoof balance, function, and its critical role in long-term soundness. Donna-Maria Bassett, professional saddle fitter, will provide insight into proper saddle fit and its direct impact on comfort, movement, and performance.
