Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open House at Infinity Equine and participated in the Colouring Contest! We were absolutely blown away by the creativity, colour choices, and attention to detail in every single entry. From bold backgrounds to thoughtful shading and unique artistic touches, it’s clear we have some talented young artists in our community!

Our judge had an incredibly difficult time narrowing down the winners, as each piece brought something special to the table. After much thoughtful consideration, the results are in — and we’re so excited to share them with you!

🏆 First Place Prize

We will be contacting our first place winner, Lauren, to arrange pick-up of her amazing prize — a “Get Over It™” sweatshirt generously donated by Trace Embroidery. This stylish and comfortable piece is a favourite among equestrians, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer it as a reward for Lauren’s outstanding work. A huge thank-you to Trace Embroidery for supporting this event and helping us celebrate creativity in the barn! Congratulations to Lauren!!

🏆 WINNER: Lauren📸

"It was a very close contest, but in the end, your entry came out on top. It demonstrates both technical skill and artistic vision. The colour palette is unified, carefully staying within the lines and outlining the foliage of the trees, and little details like the blue eyes makes everything look very sharp. Congratulations!"

🥈 Second Place: Violet📸

"Your drawing came in at a VERY close second, it was so hard to choose between you and the winner. What impressed me most was that your colour choices clearly represent a unified palette; a palette that reminds me of one of my very favourite artists, Vincent van Gough. Great job, keep at it."

Honourable Mentions

So many entries deserved recognition. Here are a few that stood out for their creativity, bold choices, and artistic techniques:

"I loved the way you coloured the pony’s mane; big and bushy, it reminds me of a Shetland. I was also impressed with the colour variegation in the trunk and foliage of the trees. Great job."

    Eddie📸

"I loved your bold colour markings on the pony’s coat, and the detail of the blue eyes. Your use of mixed mediums is a sophisticated artistic practice, the selective use of markers over pencil crayon makes certain objects stand out from the background. Thank you very much, and I hope you had fun."

    Vivian📸

"I absolutely love the markings on the pony’s coat, it’s almost like a Giraffe-Appaloosa. You were also the only one that thought of making her a unicorn, and making a nighttime sky. Good job, and I hope you had fun."

    Antoni📸

"I love your pallet of bright, bold colours. The pony is definitely the star of the show, and her rainbow forelock is eminently suitable for pride month. Thank you very much."

    Grace📸

"Your colouring shows great technical skill. The three colours in the ponies coat and mane look very natural and outlining the foliage of the trees gives them texture and makes them stand out as figures, rather than just background. Great job!"

Every single artist brought something unique to the table, and we loved seeing your work brighten up the barn. Stay tuned for more fun contests and events at Infinity Equine!
