At Infinity Equine, we believe the barn should be a safe haven—a sanctuary where respect, kindness, and inclusion are the foundation of everything we do. To uphold this, we’ve implemented a comprehensive Anti-Bullying Policy to ensure everyone feels valued, supported, and welcome—whether you’re riding, boarding, or simply enjoying the barn atmosphere.
Purpose: Creating a Safe, Respectful, and Supportive Environment
Our commitment is to provide a space where every individual can find peace, community, and growth. The pressures of everyday life can be overwhelming, and the barn should be a place to escape, recharge, and connect.
Bullying of any kind—verbal, social, physical, or digital—is not tolerated here. Every person deserves to feel safe and included at Infinity Equine.
What Is Bullying?
Bullying is any deliberate behavior that causes harm, distress, or exclusion. It includes, but is not limited to:
Verbal Bullying: Name-calling, insults, mocking, or harmful remarks
Social Bullying: Excluding someone, spreading rumors, or isolating a person from the group
Physical Bullying: Hitting, pushing, or other physical intimidation
Cyberbullying: Using social media, messaging, or digital platforms to harass or target someone
It’s important to recognize that exclusion is also a form of bullying. Purposefully leaving someone out or making them feel unwelcome is equally harmful and treated seriously.
Our Commitment to a Positive Community
At Infinity Equine, we foster an environment built on:
Respect: Every person, regardless of age, experience, or background, deserves dignity and kindness
Inclusion: We welcome all riders, boarders, and visitors to be part of our community
Support: Our barn is a place for personal growth and emotional well-being, offering a supportive community to help navigate life’s challenges
Consequences of Bullying
We take bullying seriously. Violations of this policy will lead to:
First Offense: A formal meeting and warning to discuss the impact of the behavior
Second Offense: Suspension from barn activities, lessons, and events for a determined period
Third Offense: Removal from the program, including possible termination of boarding or involvement
These steps are designed to protect the community and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all.
Reporting Bullying
If you experience or witness bullying, please speak up. Contact any staff member, coach, or owner directly. For confidential reporting, we offer an online form at www.infinityequine.ca/bullying. Every report will be handled discreetly and thoroughly.
The Impact of Bullying
Bullying can cause deep, lasting harm, including:
Mental Health Effects: Increased risk of anxiety, depression, and other struggles
Social Isolation: Feeling excluded can erode confidence and self-worth
Physical Symptoms: Stress from bullying may cause headaches, stomach issues, and sleep problems
We believe that fostering a respectful and supportive community is essential for the well-being of everyone at Infinity Equine.
Join Us in Building a Positive, Kind Community
Together, let’s make Infinity Equine a place where everyone can thrive—where respect and kindness guide us all.
Thank you for helping us create a welcoming environment where riders and horses alike can grow and shine.
